Men's and women's golf post solid finishes in tournaments

The women closed out their season at the Eva Shorb Weiskopf Invitational in Wooster, Ohio as the men’s programs sent six individuals to compete in the Wabash Fall Classic this past weekend.

The women’s team continued their dominance, placing second out of nine teams.

The Tigers were led by first-year Rachele Miller, who finished in a tie for third with an overall score of 166. Sophomore Kharissa Carras placed sixth with a 169, followed by junior Sheinnera Gerongay in seventh with 170.

DePauw was rounded out by first-years Larisa Luloff (173) and Danielle Smith (177), who finished 13th and 19th respectively.

Junior Quinn Smith led the men’s team, finishing fourth with a 151 over the two-day tournament. Sophomores Andrew Derringer and Tim Graham tied for fifth overall with scores of 152.

Sophomore Jackson Mihevc tied for eighth with a 153, while first-year Josh Krutchik tied for 11th with a 155.

This weekend, the men will compete in the North Coast Athletic Conference Fall Preview, which will take place at the Wooster Country Club.
