Dear DePauw Community,
After three years of gracing our campus, Simple Logic (the wicker sculpture by Patrick Dougherty near East College) has completed its time with us. We would like to mark this passage with a farewell ceremony on Thursday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. Please join us for light refreshments and a chance to say goodbye. The sculpture will be dismantled and allowed to fall; those who wish to may then take a memento of the piece. After the ceremony, it will be recycled into mulch to be used throughout DePauw's campus. This gesture will comply with the artist's wishes for the piece.
Please spread the word amongst friends within the Greencastle community as we gather to bid a fond farewell to "Simple Logic."
