1954: Begin Indiana Collegiate Conference play in football

When DePauw joined the Indiana Collegiate Conference it consisted of Ball State, Butler, Evansville, Indiana State, St. Joseph's (Ind.) and Valparaiso. Ball State and Indiana State left in 1968, while Wabash and Indiana Central (later University of Indianapolis) joined in 1970.

1976-77: Last season of Indiana Collegiate Conference competition in all sports

June 23, 1987: Announced formation of the Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference along with Anderson, Franklin, Hanover, Manchester and Wabash. These six began conference play in some sports during the 1987-88 year in some men's sports only and all sports by the 1988-89 year. Taylor and Rose-Hulman later joined the conference and began conference play in the 1988-89 year. Taylor later leaves.

1987-88: DePauw's women join and begin play in the Hoosier Conference for Women with Hanover, Earlham, Manchester, Anderson and Goshen.

1993-94: Women begin competition in Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference.

1998-99: DePauw begins Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play.

NOTE: DePauw's men's soccer team also competed in the Illinois-Indiana Collegiate Soccer Conference from 1973-86. The field hockey team also competed in a regional tournament championship with teams from Tennessee, Kentucky, Michigan and Indiana.
