Greencastle set ablaze

Firefighters battle ongoing flames at pawn shop on the square

BREAKING: Dark clouds of smoke engulfed Greencastle's town square this morning as firefighters continue efforts to contain the flames. The fire in the Wilson building that houses a pawn shop and an apartment above at the corner of East Washington Street and South Vine Street began around 7 a.m. this morning. Greencastle chief police officer Tom Sutherlin said the fire originated on the back deck of the apartment's patio. Everyone in the building was evacuated and no injuries have been reported. Class of 2017 more diverse, higher GPA average

The admissions team decided to limit the number of admits with a GPA lower than 3.1 in the class of 2017 in an effort to raise the academic profile at DePauw, one of the univerisity's long-term goals. Full story

Scholarship packages will change for School of Music
