DePauw student dies unexpectedly
Junior Shelby Evans, 21, died June 7 in her sleep at her home in Carmel, Ind. She was unresponsive after multiple attempts to be woken. The cause of Evans' death is unconfirmed.…

Faculty weighs in on intellectual life with poll
A year of formal discussion and proposal writing regarding intellectual life culminated in two surveys totaling 45 questions at Monday's faculty meeting.
The first survey was five quesrtions and addressed the five charges put forth by President Brian Casey at the beginning of the semester, asking the faculty if they recommended "No Changes, Minor adjustments, Moderate adjustments, Significant changes" or had no opinion on the matters of graduation requirements, Winter Term, internships, Programs of Distinction and first-year programs.…
