Film showing of Serbian Loving Glances hits close to home for campus community members


Loving Glances offered students a taste of romance in a rare setting: the War in the Balkans. The film, screened Tuesday, was directed by Srdjan Karanovic. Entitled Sjaj u Ocima in Serbian, the movie takes place in Belgrade in 1995. Babington named full-time VP for student services


Dean of Students Cindy Babington officially added a second full-time title when she was named DePauw's vice president for student services late last week. Web site pushes bounds of academic integrity


There is new hope for college students strapped for cash thanks to University of Dayton sophomore Ryan Sapp. Sapp conceptualized and designed a networking Web site for college notes called isleptthroughclass.com. The object of the site is to provide students who legitmately miss class the opportunity to obtain notes, said Arik Flanders, director of advertising for the Web site.… Post the First Comment

Campus concert Live on the Lawn rocks indoors


Musicians Trevor Hall, David McMillin and the band TGL performed on campus Friday, bringing in students and community members and $302.00 in donations that will benefit United Way. Junior Pat Lane and sophomore Ray Marra came up with the idea to bring a concert to campus.… Post the First Comment
