DePauw guest arrested over weekend on alcohol charge
William Wilson, 20, was arrested Sunday morning for public intoxication and minor consumption, then added resisting law enforcement to his record after an attempt to flee from police custody.

DePauw ranks in U.S. News and World Report, Princeton Review
U.S. News and World Report published "America's Best Colleges 2008" on Aug. 15, and the University landed on the list at 49.
DePauw tied with Pitzer College in California and Rhodes College in Tennessee. The University was ranked along with 266 other liberal arts schools in the United States.…

Greencastle enacts smoking ban
Starting at noon Saturday, all public places and places of employment in Greencastle will become smoke-free.
The Greencastle City Council voted 3-2 to pass the smoking ban on May 8, 2007, making Greencastle the 33rd Indiana community to adopt such an ordinance.…

Marijuana confiscated from visiting art speaker
